God chose to become a human by being born of a woman and totally dependent on parents to raise him. He lived with his family for 30 years and became a carpenter before beginning his ministry. Why did he choose to be born and grow up like us, instead of just appearing as an adult? Perhaps he wanted to do more than just to tell us how to live; he wanted to show us.
Lord, help me to comprehend how much you must love me, to become human.
