Jesus tells us that we are not to be afraid of being persecuted for acknowledging him. We are to follow him and proclaim his message. Even though our persecutors may harm us emotionally and physically, they cannot harm our soul. We must find ways to share the good news in our politically correct, anti-religious, hedonistic culture. By staying true to Jesus, we will have eternal life in heaven.
Lord, help me to proclaim your teachings without fear, through my words and my actions.
