Jesus came to call us to a conversion from our old ways and to follow him. He wasn’t trying to win a popularity contest. He wasn’t politically correct so as not to offend anyone. And he didn’t water down the truth so everyone could do their own thing, as long as they were basically a good person. Jesus knew that his message would be embraced by some and rejected by others.
Lord, help me to embrace you, even if it causes division in my own family.
