During ancient times, it was common practice to take prophets, missionaries, and evangelists into your home and provide for their needs. Jesus says that those who provide for their needs will be rewarded. He also says that even those sharing small gifts to those spreading the good news will be rewarded. Today, the most common practice is to provide financial support.
Lord, help me to help support your church, its missionaries and evangelists.
