Jesus told the Apostles not to accept money when they preached the gospel. They were to give freely and a worthy person would provide for their basic needs. We are all called to preach the gospel. Most of us aren’t bible scholars and dynamic speakers. But we all have our own unique talents and gifts. When we help someone for their own good, with no ulterior motive and without accepting payment, we are preaching the gospel.
Lord, help me to freely share the gifts you have given me with others.
