From the beginning of time, God planned to redeem the world. This was foretold in the book of Genesis and by many of the prophets, including Isaiah. But God’s redemption would not be through military power and political leadership. God would send his beloved servant to serve us. The creator of the universe, would serve one of his creations.
Lord, help me to serve others the way you have served me.
