Jesus says blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can never be forgiven. What does that mean? The Pharisees say Jesus drove out the demon through Satan (Beelzebul) but Jesus tells them it was through the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy has several meanings. Here, blasphemy means attributing to Satan what were the works of the Holy Spirit.
