It is hard to imagine waiting our whole life for something that never comes. And not just our lives, but our children’ s lives, and so on for generations. When Jesus came, it was for all generations. He established his Church, who compiled the Bible, so his words would be available for everyone, forever. And at his command, the Church consecrates bread and wine into his body for us to gaze upon and consume.
Lord, help me to appreciate how blessed I am because I can see and hear you.
