Jesus picked his twelve Apostles from among the common people. From this small group, he would build his church that would spread throughout the world. These Apostles shared the good news about the kingdom of heaven, but more importantly, they lived according to the commandments of Jesus. Because of their living testament, there are now over 2.5 billion Christians worldwide.
Lord, help me to do one good deed today, not for my glory, but for the growth of your kingdom.
