Jesus was tempted by the devil to disobey God. The devil tempts us every day; sometimes with seemingly insignificant things. But each time we give in to even the smallest of temptations, the devil wins a victory over us. It then becomes easier for the devil to tempt us with bigger things.
Lord, help me to say no to the devil and yes to the will of God.
