We are dependent on God for everything; from the air we breath, to the food we eat. Jesus says that we should not worry or be anxious about the things of this world, because God will provide for us. All God asks in return is that we seek his kingdom and live according to his will. It is true, there may be times when we experience hunger and pain; after all, we do live in a broken world. But the vast majority of things that people worry about, never happen.
Lord, help me to grow closer to you and not worry about the things of this world.
