Jesus says there are people who do great and mighty deeds in his name, but they will not enter heaven. Why not? Because we must do the will of God and love him above everything. It is true that we show our love by what we do. But we also show our love by our thoughts and by our words. To enter heaven, we must think and say and do good. And we must do these to glorify God, not ourselves.
Lord, help me to always do the will of God, so you will welcome me on the last day.
