For many centuries, leprosy was a horrible, untreatable, and contagious skin disease. Those afflicted were cut off from human contact and banished from town. Sin is also a horrible disease, separating us from God and banishing us from Heaven. This leper went to Jesus and asked if he could be cleansed. Jesus wants to be our lord and he wants us to go to him. He healed the leper, and he will heal us too.
Lord, help me to honor you, so that by your grace, I may be cleansed of my sins.
