Even though Jesus cast out demons and healed the sick, those people eventually died. So what was the point of healing a few people over 2,000 years ago? Jesus wants all generations to hear and believe his message about the kingdom of heaven. By performing these miracles, Jesus showed that he has power over this world, and the next, proving that his message is true.
Lord, help me to hear your message and believe.
