It’s a natural human reaction to be terrified of storms or other dangers that can kill us. Jesus did calm this storm, however, other dangers eventually killed the disciples. Jesus tells us we should not be afraid of what can kill our body, but what can kill our soul. It is through our faith in him that our soul will be saved.
Lord, help me to maintain my faith in you when encountering the storms of my life.
