Jesus healed this paralyzed man. He healed him physically so he could walk on earth, but more importantly, Jesus healed him spiritually by forgiving his sins, so the man could walk in the kingdom of God. Jesus has the power to forgive sins and Jesus gave that power to the leaders of his church as we will read later in the gospel. What sins paralyze us and keep us from following Jesus?
Lord, help me to confess my sins so that you may heal my own paralysis.
