The official had faith that if Jesus laid his hands on his daughter, she would be raised from the dead. The woman had faith that if she laid her hands on the tassels of Jesus’ cloak, she would be healed. In both cases it was not the act of the hands, but the faith in Jesus that resulted in their prayers being answered.
Lord, help me to have faith in you as strong as this official and woman.
