Jesus had healed the sick, raised the dead, and cast out demons. He told his disciples that he was the Messiah, the Son of God, and hell would not prevail over his church. How strange it must have been for the disciples to hear Jesus say he would die at the hands of the men. What things does Jesus tell us through his church that are difficult for us to understand?
