Jesus knew that he would be crucified in the coming months. To strengthen his disciples, Jesus allowed them to witness his transfiguration. His clothes became white as light. Moses and Elijah appeared in the flesh and talked with Jesus. And God himself spoke, telling the disciples to listen to his beloved Son. God wasn’t speaking just to those disciples. God is speaking to us all.
Lord, help me to listen and be faithful to you.
