Jesus cares for his disciples, the little ones, as a shepherd cares for his sheep. He seeks out the disciple who strays away in sin to bring them back to his flock. It is God’s will that none of his children are lost. If someone strays away from Jesus, we must not despise them or judge them. We must pray for them and ask the Holy Spirit for help in bringing them back. And on their return, we will rejoice!
Lord, help me to come back to you when I stray, and pray for others who also have strayed.
