In biblical times, the blind were sometimes taken to the road to beg for money. When Jesus passed by, the blind men did not beg for money. They had heard of the healing power of Jesus, and having faith in him as their Lord, they asked to be able to see. Do we know of someone in need of physical, emotional, or spiritual healing? Do we ourselves need healing? We may not receive an immediate answer to our prayer, but Jesus does hear us. And through our faith in him, he will heal us for all eternity.
Lord, help me to ask you for healing, for me and for others, with the faith of these blind men.
