Jesus triumphantly enters the holy city as they shout blessings upon him. In seven days, many of these same people will shout for his death. Crowd dynamics can be very powerful. Individuals can lose their sense of self, and are susceptible to adopting the thoughts and emotions of the group. The Jewish leaders knew how to manipulate the crowds to have Jesus crucified. And today, social influencers are manipulating millions to think they don’t need God or his commandments.
Lord, help me to hold fast to your ways and not follow the ways taught by social media.
