Jesus tells us the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul. He then says the second greatest commandment is that we must love others as ourselves. If we truly love someone, then we will desire and choose what is good for them. If we truly love God, we will follow his commandments and love one another as he has loved us.
Lord, help me to grow in my love for you and for others.
