There have been many times of tribulation throughout history. The church has been persecuted. The faith of Christians has been shaken. And there have been false prophets. But those times weren’t the final tribulation. Jesus says his second coming will be after a time of such a great tribulation as the world has never seen. And when he returns, it will be as obvious as lightning in the sky. The time between the great tribulation and his second coming won’t be a 1,000 years, but the days will be shortened so that those who hold fast to their faith may be saved.
Lord, help me to always be ready by holding fast to my faith in you.
