Jesus describes his second coming using incredible celestial language, not to scare us, but to emphasize the glory and majesty of his return. We don’t know if it will be today or in ten thousand years. But we do know that when Jesus returns, those who believe in him and live according to his Word, will be taken with him to heaven.
Lord, help me to be prepared for your second coming by following your commandments.
