No one knows when the second coming will happen except God the Father. Not even Jesus knows, so he warns us to always be prepared. Many believe that most people are good and will go to heaven. But Jesus tells us that two people will be working in the field or cooking; and only one will be saved. Chances are they are both basically good people according to the standards of society. But only one is truly prepared; only one knows the will of God and follows his commandments.
Lord, help me to make it my priority to be prepared for your second coming.
