Jesus says that when he returns he will judge all nations by how they love God. We show our love for God by loving others. If we are compassionate and help those in need, we will enter heaven. If we say we believe but don’t take action, we will be condemned to eternal punishment. There are many works we can perform to help others. We don’t have to do them all, but we must use our unique talents to love God by serving others.
Lord, help me to always be compassionate and help those in need.
