Why did Jesus tell his Apostles that one of them would betray him? Jesus knew that after his death there would be confusion. They would wonder how the Messiah could be killed. How could he be betrayed by one of his closest disciples? Jesus told them in advance so they would know that he was always in control.
Lord help me to never let my thoughts, words, or actions betray you.
