The Apostles, the closest followers of Jesus, are shocked when he says their faith will be shaken. They will run away and claim they don’t know Jesus for fear of being persecuted. Even today followers of Jesus are persecuted because of their belief in him and his teachings. What will we do when someone confronts us about our religious practices and beliefs?
Lord, grant me courage and wisdom to stand up to others for what I believe.
