A disciple would kiss their teacher as a sign of honor and respect. However, Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss; a hypocritical action that was a signal to have Jesus arrested. What about us? We are all children of God and the Holy Spirit dwells within us. Do our words and actions demonstrate our respect for each other? Or are we hypocrites like Judas?
Lord, help me to honor and respect all of God’s children.
