Peter denied knowing Jesus, and when he realized what he had done, he was truly sorry. From that point on, Peter never denied knowing Jesus again, even when he himself was persecuted and crucified. We can deny Jesus, not only by our words but also by our actions. When we do what we want or when we conform to social norms, instead of following the will of God, we deny him.
Lord, help me to be truly sorry, and never deny you again.
