Jesus told his disciples to baptize people and teach them to do all that he had commanded. Baptism is the easy part. We say yes to Jesus and are initiated into his Church. Following his commandments is much harder. Even some of his own disciples chose to leave him rather than follow his commandments; see John 6:66. What will we do? Will we follow only those commandments that we like? Will we interpret challenging commandments the way we want?
Lord, help me to know and do all that you commanded as taught by your disciples and their successors.
