Jesus triumphantly rode into town as was prophesied of the Messiah. He cleansed the temple, then he healed the blind and the lame. Feeling that their authority was being threatened, the temple priests and elders confronted Jesus. He engaged them with a counter question, a common practice in a rabbinical debate. Today, our common practice is to either force our view on others, or hide behind a politically correct response.
Lord, help me to respond to questions about my faith in a way that respects the other person, and also honors you.
